Scenar Awareness Week
When: 17 – 25 July,
Breathless, we then decided that the events in 2008 and 2009 were incredibly time consuming with the organisers taking several years to recover if it wasn’t for the Scenar treatments, collegiality and downright fun at the Scenar 4 Life meetings.
Time for a change, all agreed.
2010 will herald a new approach.
Instead of a single event-expo-conference-chinwag-revelation-gala, this year will see us giving demos and chats at our local libraries.
Yes, I realise that sends a chill down the spine of any cheerful rabbit but with the need to let people know about Scenar trumps any hesitation-butterflies-insecurity-terror or lack of skills.
And you are not alone.
We are putting a kit together to help you…
- contact your local library
- how to get your event in their newsletter
- how to organise a meeting
- what to say and do
- you supply the presence and the smiles
That’s it. That’s scenar awareness in your local area.
Do you think that might also help your business?
There’s nothing to stop you doing the same thing with your local Lions, Rotary, Apex, P&C, Bowls, Football, etc clubs.
If you’re still threatening cardiac arrest, why not get two or more together and do a group presentation? Maybe even more than one.
Needless to say, we’ll need to coordinate so we’re not doubling up in one spot but that’s a challenge we’re looking forward to. Trick is to book a room at your local library early. The dates again: 17-25 July. Day, night weekend, week day… whatever suits.
Watch this space to get the kit when it’s ready – we’ll thrash out it’s final format at the next meeting. We’d love to hear your ideas.
